Why study biblical Greek (N.T.-Greek)?

The most important reason is to gain a deeper and better understanding of the Word of God. Our Christian faith is based on the Bible, the Word of God. The better we understand the living Word of God, the better this word can speak to us and guide us in our lives.

The course is made up of 36 separate lessons. (For the die hards a follow-up course of another 27 lessons is in the making). You are taught a vocabulary of about 1500 words, from the most frequent to the less common. This is about a third of all the words of the New Testament. Right from the start you are in the Greek N.T. and you learn Greek phrases (later they become complete sentences) that were written about 2000 years ago. In this way you assimilate the Greek of the N.T. and you make it your own.

Make-up of the studies

All lessons have been made up in the following way.

• Introduction
• Explanations by way of examples (thanks to modern computer programs we can offer a unique method)
• Homework
• New words. In every lesson new words are learned
• The background of the New Testament. Students are given ample information about the life and times of the New Testament, in this way learning the circumstances of N.T. events.

However most attention will go to learning grammar.

Cost of the course:

The course can be bought with or without the right to assistence and the correction of homework. But experience teaches that help is very necessary. Also, sending in the homework regularly will support you in the process of discipline and perseverance.
