A lot of Therapists I’ve spoken to recently have a tendency to feel stagnant. They feel this way because they have not refined the vision for themselves to be in a different situation. An extreme case of this is when someone stays in the same job or company for such a long time as then gets retrenched. People in this situation can have a hard time refocusing and redefining their skills and abilities to suit their new, potentially exciting situation. (Evanston, IL – September 24, 2008) – As stress rates increase, more people are turning to massage therapy for relaxation, according to the 12th annual consumer survey conducted by the American massage therapy Association (R) (AMTA (R)).
The survey found that 59 percent of Americans are more stressed this year than last year, and stress and relaxation are the top reasons Americans received their last massage. These survey results are announced in advance of National massage therapy Awareness Week, October 19-25.....
